Hello!!!

My name is Velvet and I am from Surry County, NC and proud to be representing our County as Chairman, for the campaign of Dan Forest for Lt. Governor.. I live in the great city of Mt. Airy, or maybe you'll recognize it if I say "Mayberry".. Yes, we are the fictional town of Mayberry that the Andy Griffith show was based on.. :)
I have 2 wonderful boys, Korbyn(21) and Kolte(18).. My oldest hopes to be attending Johnson and Wales University Culinary School in Charlotte, NC and my youngest goes to Mt. Airy High School.. As of Nov. 1st., I was blessed with my first grand child, Traelyn Brae, whom has just captivated my heart already with his presense... :)
My interests are Friday Nights Under the Lights at my sons football games, cooking with my oldest, watching none other than Fox News and spending time with the best family anyone could have and thats my Surry County Tea Party Patriots family and all of the other great friendships and connections I have made with other Tea Partiers abroad..
If I had to say I had a passion... it most definitly is the love that I have for this great Nation and for the unexplained calling I feel I have, in doing my part(whatever that may be) to retain what we've been blessed with by God!!!
