Neal Harrington, a political fundraising entrepreneur and leader in the advancement of political fundraising technology, has worked in politics for 10 years managing fundraising operations for federal, state, and local campaigns.
He is the founder of Harrington Forward Thinking (HFT), which manages the lifecycle of political fundraising operations for conservative candidates and campaigns. HFT specializes in linking traditional fundraising strategies with today's technology to produce forward thinking fundraising operations from start to finish; measuring success by one criterion; and one criterion only - results.
In 2008, Neal and his team rebuilt and then managed Pat McCrory's 2008 gubernatorial campaign fundraising operation which resulted in raising $4.7 million in 6 months; increasing contributions by 191% while expanding the numbers of donors by 513%. In 2009, Harrington managed John Lassiter’s Mayoral campaign in Charlotte, NC raising more than $600,000 for the campaign. In 2010, Harrington managed the NC Republican House Caucus fundraising operation helping them win back control of the NC General Assembly; Mark Neumann’s gubernatorial campaign in WI increasing contributions by 76% and the number of donors by 300%; and Andrew Murray’s successful Mecklenburg County District Attorney campaign raising more than seven times his opponent.
In addition to Harrington’s fundraising management and consultation, Neal is also the creator of The Harrington Network (HSN) – a social network for the political industry. This system was specifically designed to allow candidates, campaigns, consultants, and citizens to engage, interact, and drive the political process. Candidates use the system to communicate in new ways, mobilize support, raise money, and help citizens participate at greater levels; campaign staff and consultants can manage every element of a campaign(s) in one central place; and citizens can engage, participate, and ultimately determine the outcome of the political process like never before.
Neal has also developed political fundraising software. The Harrington Account Center (HAC) offers a complete set of fundraising and political management tools that can be purchased individually or as a package. These platforms are designed to help campaigns streamline and manage every component of the campaign fundraising life-cycle. Harrington also just recently purchased a new company that developed an online platform which E-Stampede voted as one of the top 10 campaign website platforms in the country in 2010. HFT’s new sister company, Red Stampede, will be launched in the Spring of 2011 and will provide conservative candidates and campaigns the latest and most advanced tools to get elected in today’s new era of political campaigning.
