Dan Forest for Lt. Governor to Meet Voters in Yancey County

(Charlotte, NC) – Dan Forest, Republican candidate for the office of North Carolina Lt. Governor, will be campaigning door to door in Yancey County on Friday, June 29. Dan is on week three of a six-week, county--a-day tour of the state, where he is walking to hundreds of homes each day seeking support of the voters for the upcoming July 17th run off election. Dan will meet those supporters helping him go door to door at 3:00 in the park at Burnsville Square before heading out to nearby neighborhoods.

Dan Forest is a former senior partner and office president of the state's largest architectural firm. He is making his first run for elected office. Dan and his wife Alice and their four children reside in Raleigh. Dan finished first in the May 8th primary for the office of Lt. Governor, garnering over 250,000 votes in a five man race, and besting his closest opponent by 62,000 votes. He faces a July 17th run off election for the office.
