Conservatives for Guilford County 2012 Run-off Endorsements
Greensboro, NC, June 21, 2012: Conservatives for Guilford County (C4gc) has announced its endorsements for the July 17th primary run-off. The C4gc research team, through background research, candidate questionnaires and interviews, has identified the most fiscally conservative candidates in the Second Primary (run-off). C4gc’s focus is to connect the people of Guilford County with politics at every level of government. Our concerns are the growth of government, debt, taxing and spending. We are working to influence the election process by supporting the most conservative candidates through grassroots networking efforts.
The state of North Carolina is struggling with high unemployment rates, crippling taxes and a growing government bureaucracy. Although the conservative majority in the General Assembly has made significant progress, much remains to be done. Strong leadership is needed on the county and state level to bring spending under control, reduce taxes, and put citizens back to work. To accomplish this, our elected officials must put special interests aside and come up with creative solutions to the problems that threaten the citizens of North Carolina.
For these reasons, C4gc is proud to endorse the following candidates:
Lieutenant Governor: Dan Forest
Secretary of State: Ed Goodwin
Commissioner of Insurance: Mike Causey
Superintendent of Public Education: John Tedesco
Guilford County Board of Commissioners 6: Jeremy Williams
