Candidate for NC Lt. Governor Dan Forest to visit Johnston, Lee, Moore and Randolph counties tomorrow, Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
(Raleigh, NC) -- Dan Forest, Republican candidate for Lt. Governor, will be in Clayton, Sanford, Pinehurst and Seagrove tomorrow.
Dan is on a 70+ county "economic development listening tour" meeting with economic developers, business leaders and small business owners hearing first hand what needs to be done to turn North Carolina around.
We invite you to come out to any of these stops to interview Dan and bring a photographer to take a photo of Dan's visit for publication.
His schedule is as follows:
9:00 - 10:00 am - Breakfast meet and greet at Jones Diner, 415 E. Main St., Clayton;
10:00 - 10:45 am - Visit Structural Steel, 8027 US 70 Business, Clayton;
12:00 noon - 1:00 pm - Tour Lee County, O'Connell Grocery and other businesses, 109 E. Main St., Sanford;
1:00 - 2:00 pm - Meet with homeschoolers at Depot Park, downtown Sanford;
3:30 - 4:15 pm - Meet with Moore County Chamber of Commerce and EDC, 100 Magnolia Road, Ste. 2210, Pinehurst;

Dan Forest is the Republican nominee for the office of North Carolina Lieutenant Governor. He earned the nomination by winning a commanding 96 of 100 NC counties in the second (July 17th) primary after traveling over 150,000 miles and visiting nearly all 100 counties during the campaign. Dan is a leader in the business community having served as office president and senior partner of the state's largest architectural firm. Dan is active in his community and church and is the founder and current president of the Triangle Leadership Forum and the former chairman of the board of Wake Forest Pregnancy Support Services. Dan and his wife, Alice, reside in Raleigh, along with their four children, ages 7 - 19.
