You are Invited - Dan Forest Swearing-In Celebration

Dan will be ceremonially sworn-in as North Carolina’s next Lt. Governor on January 12, 2013, and you are invited to attend.  Please join Dan, Governor-Elect Pat McCrory and the Council of State members as they are sworn in to office on the Capitol Grounds in Raleigh at 11:00am on January 12th. 

Immediately following the Ceremony is The Inaugural Parade.  The Parade will begin at 12:30.  We will also hold an Old Fashioned Pig Pickin’ Celebration for The Dan Forest Campaign Volunteers and Supporters from 12:30pm till 4:00pm.  The Pig Pickin’ will be on the grounds of the Lt. Governor’s Office (The Hawkins-Hartness House) located at 310 N. Blount Street in Downtown Raleigh.  The Lt. Governor’s Office is just a short walk from the Capitol.  Dan and Alice will be attending this event immediately after the conclusion of the parade.
